Marati Moggu is also known as caper, caperberry, caperbush in English. It has a sharp piquant flavor and also add pungency. It is used in South India specially in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh in rice dishes like Bisi bele bath, pulao, also in preparations of masalas.
